🔬 Practical — Lab Procedures
25 PROCEDURES
All 25 laboratory procedures, built for the Practical Exam — this section covers 100% of the practical exam's material. Each one is explained from the ground up: what the test is, the idea behind it, the step-by-step method, the formula, and the reference values. Pick a category to filter, then tap any procedure to open it.

How to use this guide
Everything this app can do, in one tour
This guide is built around four ideas: learn the physiology cycle by cycle, test yourself with quick quizzes, drill real exam questions in the bank, and rehearse the lab practicals. Here's how every part fits together — read it once and you'll never be lost.
01The home screen — your map

Everything starts from the welcome screen. The four squares across the top are the study cycles; the row underneath holds the Question Bank, the Practical lab, this Tutorial, and About & Credits. Tap any square to dive in; the ← Cycles button (top-left of every page) always brings you back here.

📚The Four Cycles
Cycle I Blood · II Neuro & Senses · III Cardiovascular · IV Kidney·Lung·Gut. The full curriculum, taught from the ground up.
🏦Question Bank
Over 1,750 questions in one place — real past papers, four full mock exams, and every practice and quick-quiz question gathered together.
🔬Practical
All 25 lab procedures, built for the Practical Exam — 100% of its material, explained step by step with the formula and reference values for each one.
🎓Tutorial
You're reading it. A complete tour of every feature so nothing stays hidden.
02Inside a cycle

Open any cycle and you land on its Start Here page. Everything is written in plain English that assumes no prior knowledge — every acronym is spelled out the first time it appears, and the sneaky exam traps are flagged where they hide.

⚖️ Topics in learning order

Tap the ☰ button (top-left) to slide open the topics list. The topics are deliberately ordered so each one builds on the last — read them top to bottom and the story makes sense. Tap a topic to jump straight to it.

At the bottom of every topic is a navigation bar: ← Previous on the left, Next → on the right, and — wherever a quiz exists — a 🧠 Quick Quiz button in the middle.

🧩
As you read you'll meet definition boxes, stat cards, comparison columns, pathways and colour-coded callouts (tips, warnings, key points). They're there to make the dense bits visual and memorable — no wall-of-text reading.
03Quick quizzes

Most topics end with a 🧠 Quick Quiz. Each question is multiple-choice, the options are reshuffled every time so you can't memorise positions, and the moment you answer you get an instant explanation of why the right answer is right. Your running score sits at the bottom.

💡
Use these the second time you read a topic — first learn it, then immediately quiz it. The explanations turn every wrong answer into a mini-lesson.
04The Question Bank

The 🏦 Question Bank gathers four different ways to drill into one place. Pick a bank, then choose a single cycle or take all cycles end to end. Every question renders on one long scrollable page — answer them one by one, each with its own explanation.

📜Old Questions
Every question from the real past papers (2016–2023), in the authentic combination format. 519 questions.
🎓Final Exam Simulator
Full 60-question, AI-generated mock papers spanning all four cycles, sat against a timer you choose — 90, 60 or 45 minutes — with a marked correction at the end. 4 mock exams.
📝Practice Questions
The same single-best-answer practice banks from the end of each cycle, gathered to drill from the menu. 422 questions.
⚡Quick Quizzes
Every quick-quiz question from the cycles, collected by cycle — a second way in. 580 questions.
🔀
The combination format shows a list of numbered statements and asks you to pick which combination is correct — exactly like the real exam. Options shuffle on every visit, but the correct answer is always tracked, so it never breaks.
05The Practical lab

The 🔬 Practical page is built for the Practical Exam and holds all 25 lab procedures — 100% of the practical exam's material. The pill buttons at the top filter by category — tap Blood, Kidney, Senses, Cardio, Respiratory or Metabolism to narrow the list, or All to see everything. Each procedure is a button; tap it to expand.

Inside every procedure — five tabs
What & Why The Concept Procedure Formula Reference Values

What & Why sets the scene, The Concept explains the science, Procedure is the numbered method, Formula gives the exact calculation, and Reference Values lists the normal ranges to quote in the exam.

06Your controls — always within reach

A small cluster of buttons floats in the corners of the screen, wherever you are:

07A suggested study flow

There's no wrong order, but this loop works well for an exam cycle:

1 Read a cycle → 2 Quick-quiz each topic → 3 Drill the Question Bank → 4 Rehearse the Practicals ↺
🎯
Save the Old Questions bank for the final stretch — drilling real past papers in the authentic format is the single best predictor of how the exam will feel. Good luck. You've got this.
ℹ️ About & Credits
About & Credits
Built straight from the source material
This guide isn't a summary of some outside textbook — it's a rebuild of the exact curriculum you're examined on, rewritten cycle by cycle in plain language so nothing gets lost along the way.
01Where the content comes from

Every explanation in this app is drawn from all of the Units and Seminars' slideshows — taken from both Tomasz and Kajetan. Nothing was pulled from a different syllabus or paraphrased from an unrelated source: the material here is the same material delivered in the lectures and seminars, just rewritten from the ground up so it actually reads like a story.

02How complete is it?

99% of the entire curriculum is covered here. If it appeared on a slide, it's in the app — defined, explained, and tied into the bigger picture.

🖼️
The remaining 1% is purely visual information — the few points that exist only as a picture on a slide. A single self-contained HTML file can't carry images on its own, so those image-only details are the one thing that couldn't come along for the ride.
✍️
That said, every important graph and schema is still here — written out in words. The axes, the trends, the shapes of the curves and the step-by-step logic of each diagram are all described in full text, so you lose the picture but keep the understanding.
